Is-sinjal għal STUDJU TAL-AMBJENT għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal AMBJENT. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 5 bis-swaba’ mifrudin u bil-minkeb jistrieħ kontra l-ponot tas-swaba’ tal-id l-oħra li tieqaf mimduda bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-ewwel id tinżel ’il quddiem u ’l isfel biex il-pala tiġi tħares ’l isfel u ddur lejn il-ġenb u ’l ġewwa. (ii) Imbagħad l-idejn jitilgħu ’l fuq biex isir is-sinjal għal STUDJA. L-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 ħdejn xulxin bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. L-idejn iduru nofs ċirku ’l fuq quddiem il-wiċċ.
The sign for ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES has two parts. (i) First, the sign for ENVIRONMENT is made. One hand takes the shape of 5 with fingers apart and with elbow resting against the fingertips of the other hand which lies down with palm facing downwards. The first hand moves down to the front and downwards so that the palm faces downwards and then turns to the side and inwards. (ii) Then the hands move up to make the sign for STUDY. The hands take the shape of 5 next to each other with palm facing inwards. The hands turn a half circle upwards in front of the face.
